Advanced PCB imaging machine
We co-developed this machine with our partner BKE Corp. We started out with a blank piece of paper and a process problem that is not addressed with current generation equipment involved in PCB manufacturing and came out with this futuristic, advanced imaging system. We applied for 5 patents for this machine in the US and international. This machine has 36 axes of motion, 600 digital inputs and outputs, 16 Analog inputs and output, Pneumatics and Vision system. All motion and I/O operations are event driven and parallel in execution. The architecture is driven by Ethernet communications and is controlled by a touch screen PC that runs our proprietary, intuitive, highly responsive GUI. During the course of this development, we have developed a Geometric pattern matching Vision system and an Automation and Controls frame work that is integrated with eye pleasing GUI widgets using .NET and WPF.
